Search Engine thì liên tục hoàn thiện thuật toán để mà có thể cung cấp cho người dùng những kết quả tốt nhất ( những website chất lượng). Một website có chất lượng là site mang đến cho khách viếng thăm những thông tin bổ ích vì thế sau khi đã chọn keyword, công việc tiếp theo của bạn là xây dựng nội dung trang web liên quan đến keyword đó.

On-page SEO có nghĩa là tối ưu hóa các mã trên trang web, vì thế bạn cần chú ý những điều sau đây:

1. Title Tag : thẻ tiêu đề
Title tag là trong những một nhân tố quan trọng trong việc đạt được thứ hạng cao. Tile tag thì rất cần thiết trong mã HTML, nó tạo ra những từ mà xuất hiện trên thanh tiêu đề của trinh duyệt. Thường thì title tage là yếu tố đầu tiên trong thẻ , tiếp theo là Meta Description và Meta Keywords tags. Một số qui luật chung bạn nên tuân theo khi optimize title tag:

- Sử dụng 5-7 từ và tối đa 65 ký tự cho title tag.
- Nếu có thể, đừng nên sử dụng những từ được gọi là stop word như "a, and, or.."
- Tránh spam: đừng nên lập lại cùng một keyword quá 2 lần.

2. Meta Description tag :

Meta Description tag mô tả nội dung website của bạn. Search engine sẽ dùng nội dung này để mô tả ngắn gọn nội dung trang web khi thể hiện kết quả tìm kiếm cho người dùng. Thẻ Meta description nên bao gồm nhiều từ khóa được tổ chức trong 1 câu có ý nghĩa.
- Đặt keyword phrase ở đầu description để đạt được thứ hạng cao nhất có thể.
- Cố gắng giữ description trong khoảng 255 ký tự.

3. Meta Keyword tag :

Meta Keyword tag cho phép bạn cung cấp thêm thông tin cho search engine về nội dung website của bạn. Bạn nên kèm theo 25 từ hay cụm từ ngăn cách bởi dầu phẩy trong mete keyword tag.
